PURCHASER

About the role

To assist in the purchasing of materials, equipment, and services required for the Company's electrical and instrumentation engineering projects.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and review purchase requests from project and office departments.
• Source and obtain quotations from suppliers.
• Compare prices, specifications, delivery periods, and payment terms.
• Prepare quotation comparison for approval.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO) upon approval.
• Follow up with suppliers on order status and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with suppliers, warehouse, site, engineering, and project teams.
• Check delivery documents and assist in resolving delivery discrepancies.
• Maintain proper purchasing records, quotations, POs, and supplier documents.
• Assist in monitoring purchasing costs and delivery status.

About you

• Diploma / Certificate in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• 1–2 years of purchasing experience preferred; fresh graduates may be considered.
• Experience in electrical, instrumentation, construction, engineering, or M&E industry is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Good communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
• Responsible, organized, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
