Purchaser

The Purchaser is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring industrial parts, equipment, and materials required to support Industri-X operations. The role ensures timely and cost-effective purchasing across both domestic and international suppliers, supporting maintenance, rebuild, and project delivery activities.

Key responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong understanding of industrial, maintenance, and fabrication parts, materials, and equipment commonly used in heavy industry operations
• Maintain working knowledge of both domestic and international sourcing channels, including suppliers in Australia, the United States, and other relevant markets
• Understand importation processes, customs requirements, freight coordination, and documentation necessary for international purchasing into the Philippines
• Demonstrate ownership of purchasing requirements from request through to delivery, ensuring orders are placed accurately and followed through to completion
• Meet procurement timelines to support workshop schedules, rebuild deadlines, and project delivery requirements
• Maintain consistent follow-up with suppliers, freight providers, and internal teams to prevent delays or supply interruptions
• Work closely with workshop, engineering, and operations teams to understand technical requirements, urgency levels, and delivery priorities
• Maintain clear and timely communication with workshop, engineering, and operations teams regarding purchasing status, delivery timelines, and supply risks
• Liaise effectively with local and international suppliers to confirm specifications, pricing, availability, and shipment details
• Take initiative in identifying alternative suppliers, faster sourcing options, or cost-saving opportunities when supply constraints arise

About you

Position: Procurement Officer

Graduate of any Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

with 3–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, logistics, or admin roles, preferably in industrial or workshop environments.

Preferably with experience in Industrial or heavy industry purchasing environment.

Demonstrated experience handling both domestic and international procurement.

Knowledgeable in using computer, purchasing systems, spreadsheets, and documentation management.

Proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and MS Office.

With Professional Driver’s License (1,2,3 or A to D)

Preferably residing around Pampanga and Bataan.

Can start immediately.
