Key Responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, RFQ, Purchase Order (PO) issuance, order follow-up, delivery coordination, and procurement progress monitoring.

Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing, quality products, favorable commercial terms, and timely delivery while ensuring effective cost control.

Liaise closely with project teams, warehouse personnel, vessel crew, suppliers and subcontractors to confirm material requirements, specifications, quantities and delivery schedules to support project execution.

Monitor purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers to resolve delivery delays, shortages, quality issues, returns, replacements and other procurement-related matters.

Procure ship stores, spare parts, vessel provisions, production consumables and project materials in accordance with operational requirements.

Maintain and update procurement records and documentation, including Purchase Orders (PO), quotations, supplier invoices, Job Delivery Orders (JDO), delivery documents and related procurement records.

Verify supplier invoices and coordinate with the Finance Department to ensure timely payment processing, account reconciliation and cost allocation.

Maintain and update the approved supplier database, establish relationships with local and overseas suppliers, and monitor supplier performance.

Assist in preparing quotations for ship stores, spare parts and procurement-related services when required.

Archive procurement documents and upload relevant records into the Company's system upon project completion.

Ensure all procurement activities comply with the Company's procurement policies, procedures, quality standards and applicable statutory requirements.

Perform any other duties assigned by the Management.

2. REQUIREMENT

Candidate must possess at least Diploma Level in any field.

At least 2 years (s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Advantage to experience in ship chandler

Good organisation and communication skills.

We are seeking candidates proficient in Chinese to effectively communicate with Chinese-speaking clients.
