Purchaser-Construction Experience

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Purchaser to join our construction company in the UAE. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in purchasing, procurement, supplier coordination, and sourcing construction materials.

Experience: 3–5+ years in construction purchasing/procurement

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

* Handle day-to-day purchasing and procurement activities for construction projects

* Source and purchase construction materials, tools, equipment, and site requirements

* Obtain and compare quotations from different suppliers

* Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions

* Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up on approvals and deliveries

* Coordinate with project managers, engineers, site teams, stores, and accounts departments

* Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors

* Monitor material availability and ensure timely delivery to project sites

* Identify reliable suppliers and evaluate supplier performance

* Ensure purchased materials meet project specifications and required quality standards

* Maintain proper purchasing records, quotations, invoices, and delivery documents

* Monitor market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities

* Follow up on pending orders and resolve delivery or material-related issues

* Ensure procurement activities are completed within project budgets and deadlines

Requirements:

* Minimum 3–5 years of purchasing/procurement experience in the UAE construction industry

* Good knowledge of construction materials and building products

* Strong knowledge of UAE suppliers and local construction market

* Experience dealing with suppliers and negotiating commercial terms

* Good understanding of Purchase Orders, quotations, invoices, and delivery documentation

* Strong communication and negotiation skills

* Good organizational and time-management skills

* Ability to work under pressure and meet urgent site requirements

* Proficiency in MS Office / Excel

* Immediate joiners will be preferred
