PURCHASER / PLANNER

Job Title: Planner

Responsibility:

1. Prepare CNC machine loading and daily production schedules based on customer demand, machine capacity and priorities.

2. Coordinate with SCM on material requirements and availability to support production schedules and On-Time Delivery (OTD).

3. Monitor open orders and update order status to provide accurate information to Sales and relevant departments.

4. Coordinate with Production to monitor daily output, plan-versus-actual performance and production progress.

5. Identify production schedule risks, delays and capacity constraints, and propose contingency actions to minimize delivery impact.

6. Coordinate with SCM on outsourced parts schedules and follow up on availability according to production requirements.

7. Prepare weekly demand and supply planning reports and monitor machine loading to support effective capacity utilization.

8. Coordinate with Sales on customer pull-in, push-out requests and revised delivery schedules.

9. Maintain and update production planning information in ERP and MES systems, including open orders and schedule status.

Job Requirement:

1. Good understanding of CNC machining processes, production planning and mechanical drawings.

2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret production and planning data.

3. Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with ERP/MES systems.

4. Knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements is an advantage.

Minimum Qualification:

1. Experience in using ERP/MES systems for production planning and order tracking.

Job Title: Purchaser

Responsibility:

1. Source and evaluate suppliers based on material requirements, quality, cost, capability and delivery requirements.

2. Coordinate with internal departments to confirm specifications, quantities, required dates and other purchasing requirements.

3. Obtain and compare quotations and negotiate commercial terms within approved limits.

4. Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) and related purchasing documents in accordance with company procedures.

5. Monitor open purchase orders and supplier commitments to support On-Time Delivery (OTD).

6. Follow up supplier issues involving delivery delays, shortages, quality concerns and other order discrepancies.

Job Requirement:

1. Knowledge of purchasing processes, sourcing and supplier management.

2. Good negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.

3. Ability to evaluate quotations and analyze purchasing information.

4. Good organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

5. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and other relevant purchasing systems.

Minimum Qualification:

1. Minimum 2 years of relevant purchasing/procurement experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
