Purchasing Analyst

ACTIVITIES

• Manage suppliers’ master records, and participate in suppliers’ prequalification program
• Management of SAP outline agreements/consignment purchase information records and its related activities, coordination with sites in purchasing flow
• Management of purchase prices and future prices
• Participate in BU’s S&OP meetings
• Analyze and treatment of price differences (final validation by purchasers)
• Investigate and treatment of claims
• Support various DAMPE projects : Orion, Contract ‘IN and Sign’ IT, Risk Assessment for raw material, Conflict Minerals Declaration, Together for Sustainability (TfS), suppliers’ performance evaluation, SAP S/4HANA, etc.
• Contribute to the improvement of the purchase processes in line with core model
• Administration of Vendor forecasts, ensuring proper distribution & accuracy
• Manages supplier contracts (single or multi sites) including negotiations and sourcing, for selected raw materials and packaging
• Ensure timely month-end closing and reporting and provide analysis if required

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or business process support roles.
• Strong knowledge of purchasing processes, supplier management, and procurement workflows.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ERP systems, particularly in purchase orders, outline agreements, vendor master data, and pricing management.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data management skills with high attention to detail.
• Able to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and countries in a multicultural environment.
• Experience in contract management, supplier performance evaluation, S&OP processes, or procurement projects will be an advantage.
• Accounting or financial knowledge is an added advantage.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Mandarin and/or French language proficiency is a plus.
