About the role

Trisen Manufacturing (M) Sdn Bhd, a leading manufacturing company in the Selangor region, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Executive to join their dynamic team. As a Purchasing Executive, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the company's procurement and inventory management processes. This full-time position is based in our Semenyih, Selangor office.

What you'll be doing

• Identify, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible terms and pricing for raw materials and other necessary supplies
• Manage the procurement process, including issuing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and maintaining accurate inventory records
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand production requirements and develop purchasing strategies to meet the company's needs
• Monitor and analyze market trends, supplier performance, and inventory levels to optimize purchasing decisions
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable and timely delivery of goods
• Assist in the implementation and continuous improvement of procurement policies and procedures
• Provide regular reports on purchasing activities, budgets, and performance metrics
• General administrative tasks assigned by superiors

What we're looking for

• Fresh graduate are welcome to join us.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in the plastic manufacturing industry
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Proficient in various procurement software and tools, such as MRP systems and inventory management software
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to optimize purchasing decisions
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
• Knowledge of supply chain management principles and experience in inventory management
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and supply chain regulations and compliance requirements
• Required language(s): English and Mandarin (As you need to communicate with mandarin-speaking suppliers)
