- Database Management: Record and maintain details of VPO, Purchase Order (PO), and WO requests, creations, changes, and corrections in an Excel database.
- Budget Oversight: Monitor VPOs against project budgets, assisting with cost control and minimizing variances.
- Plan Takeoff Review: Review and update material takeoffs at the plan level, using previously recorded VPO, PO, and WO data to address overages, corrections, or changes.
- Post-Closing Budget Review: Reconcile VPOs and overages after closing to identify material takeoff issues or pricing discrepancies.
- Systems Management: Maintain accurate purchasing data in MarkSystems, our fully integrated homebuilding software, and help keep records consistent across systems.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in VPO workflows and recommend enhancements.
