About the role

We are seeking a Purchasing & EXIM professional with capabilities in procurement processes, supplier sourcing, and import/export activity management. This position will handle purchasing needs for General Trading business as well as materials and components for Semi-Manufacturing (Machining and Fabrication)
Special Purpose Machine (SPM).

Key responsibilities

• Source and identify local and overseas suppliers/vendors according to company needs
• Execute purchasing processes from quotation, comparison, price negotiation, PO creation to delivery monitoring
• Evaluate and maintain good relationships with suppliers
• Control price, quality, lead time, and goods availability
• Handle purchasing needs for standard part, materials, spare parts, machine components, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, automation, and other operational requirements
• Coordinate with Sales Departemen (for business Genera Trading) or Engineering/Production for component procurement based on specifications, BOM, drawings, or project needs
• Manage import/export processes and ensure completeness of related documentation
• Coordinate with suppliers, forwarders, PPJK, shipping lines, and related parties in shipping/import processes
• Understand and ensure application of HS Code, Incoterms, and required import/export documents
• Monitor shipments until goods are received properly

About you

• Minimum D3/S1 education, preferably from Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related fields
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Import/Export, or Supply Chain
• Experience conducting local and overseas/import purchasing
• Understanding of import/export processes and documentation
• Understanding of basic Incoterms, HS Code, shipping, customs, and clearance processes
• Negotiation and communication skills with suppliers
• Ability to communicate in English, especially for email and communication with overseas suppliers
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, particularly Excel
• Ability to analyse prices, quotations, lead times, and supplier comparisons
• Detail-oriented, responsible, with strong follow-up capabilities and ability to work with deadlines
