About the role

PT Mitra Mulia Makmur is seeking an experienced Purchasing and Exim Manager to join our team in Surabaya, East Java. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in managing our procurement operations and international trade activities. As Purchasing and Exim Manager, you will oversee the entire purchasing cycle, supplier relationships, and export-import documentation and compliance. This role is integral to ensuring our supply chain operates efficiently whilst maintaining cost-effectiveness and regulatory compliance in our manufacturing, transport and logistics operations.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, economics, Technic or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing and procurement management within a manufacturing or logistics environment
• Proven experience in export-import management, including international trade documentation and customs procedures
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian export-import regulations and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in procurement software systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers and manage vendor relationships
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work across multiple departments
• Knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices
• Familiarity with incoterms and international payment methods
• Fluency in Indonesian and English, both written and spoken
• Placement in Surabaya
