What they need

Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator

Monday to Friday | Silverdale | Varied All-Rounder Role

Complete Staff Solutions is seeking a hands-on and organised Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator to join a small, close-knit business based in Silverdale.

Our client specialises in chemical dosing pumps, metering systems and hygiene dispensing solutions, supplying equipment and systems sourced from overseas to the Australian market.

This is a varied, all-rounder position suited to someone who enjoys working across purchasing, inventory management, customer service, warehouse operations and quality assurance.

You'll play an important role in keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly, with the opportunity to learn the products and systems and become a key part of the team.

About the Role

No two days will be exactly the same! Working Monday to Friday, your responsibilities will include:

  • Purchasing & Procurement: Ordering stock and equipment from head office, monitoring inventory levels and coordinating replenishment.
  • Inventory Management: Managing incoming and outgoing stock, maintaining accurate inventory records and investigating discrepancies.
  • Administration & MYOB: Processing transactions, checking pricing, updating records and ensuring orders are accurately documented.
  • Customer Service: Responding to customer enquiries, checking orders and ensuring customers receive the correct products.
  • Warehouse Support: Assisting with receiving, dispatch, picking and packing, and forklift operation as required.
  • Quality Assurance: Inspecting incoming equipment, checking specifications and documentation, and helping ensure products meet applicable Australian standards and requirements.
  • General Operations: Working closely with the team and assisting wherever needed to keep the business operating efficiently.

About You

We're looking for someone who is adaptable, takes pride in their work and enjoys having a varied role rather than being tied to one task all day.

You may come from a purchasing, inventory, spare parts, mechanical or warehouse coordination background. A practical mindset and willingness to learn are just as important as your existing experience.

Ideally, you will have:

  • Experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory management or stock control.
  • Experience using MYOB or similar accounting and inventory software.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly when checking pricing, stock and orders.
  • Good customer service and communication skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand equipment, components and product specifications.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to assist across different areas of the business.

A forklift licence and experience in spare parts, pumps, mechanical equipment or technical products would be highly regarded.

You don't need to have experience in every area! If you have a solid background in purchasing or inventory, enjoy learning new things and are happy to get hands-on, we'd love to hear from you.

What's on Offer?

  • $80,000 per annum + superannuation.
  • Monday to Friday working week.
  • Opportunity to join a small, established business with a close-knit team.
  • A diverse role offering variety, responsibility and the chance to develop new skills.
  • Support and training to learn the products and systems.
  • The opportunity to become a valued, long-term member of the team.
