Purchasing & Logistics Staff

The Purchasing & Logistics Staff role manages direct and indirect material purchasing activities to support production and wider business requirements. Based in Sriracha, Chonburi, the position covers supplier sourcing, cost analysis, purchase order management, delivery monitoring, and coordination with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage direct and indirect material purchasing activities to support business operations and production requirements
• Conduct supplier sourcing and evaluation, RFQ and RFP processes, quotation comparisons, price negotiations, and supplier selection
• Manage the procurement of raw materials, components, packaging materials, and operational supplies to support timely delivery and cost competitiveness
• Analyse material costs, monitor market trends, and perform cost breakdown analysis to identify cost reduction opportunities
• Build, maintain, and develop supplier relationships to achieve cost, quality, delivery, and service targets
• Issue and manage purchase orders, monitor order status, and ensure on-time delivery according to production schedules and business requirements
• Coordinate with Planning, Production, Logistics, Warehouse, Quality, and Engineering teams to resolve supply-related issues
• Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions to improve supplier quality and delivery performance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or strategic sourcing within a manufacturing environment
• Strong experience sourcing and purchasing direct and indirect materials
• Experience managing suppliers for raw materials, components, packaging materials, or production-related items
• Strong knowledge of supplier selection, contract management, cost reduction, and procurement processes
• Ability to plan purchasing activities, monitor delivery performance, and maintain supply continuity
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under tight deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
• Ability to communicate effectively in English for daily business operations and negotiations with international suppliers
