What they need
About the role Ever wondered what it takes to keep thousands of much-loved garden products moving off the line and into Aussie and Kiwi backyards? As our Purchasing & Material Planner at Mt Druitt, one of the largest and most complex manufacturing sites in the Yates Group, you'll be the one making sure production never misses a beat.
Working hand in hand with our Production Planner, you'll turn the production plan into action. You'll spot missing components early, raise purchase orders on time and keep raw materials, packaging and third-party bulk flowing to the site. With around 3,000 SKUs in Australia and more than 1,000 in New Zealand, no two days will look the same.
This isn't a role where you sit behind a screen all day. You'll work with people right across the site, building strong relationships, solving problems together and bringing fresh ideas to how we do things.
Our Benefits:
- Up to $1,000 net annually to cover private health extras gap costs
- Exclusive discounts on DuluxGroup products and partner offers
- Stay active anytime, anywhere through our partnership with Fitness Passport
- 20 weeks paid parental leave (primary carers) and 2 weeks partner leave from day one
- Market leading learning, development and career pathways
- Access to our Wellbeing Hub and full EAP support
- Recognition programs that celebrate your impact
What You'll Bring
- 3 to 4 years' experience in supply chain, procurement or planning
- Manufacturing experience, ideally with complex product ranges
- SAP experience (highly regarded, but if you learn fast, we'll set you up to succeed)
- Strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset and a curious, open approach
