Purchasing & Material Planning Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan material and purchasing requirements based on customer forecasts and production needs.
• Monitor forecasts and take action to prevent material shortages or excess inventory.
• Handle PR and PO activities and follow up on supplier deliveries.
• Source raw materials and new suppliers.
• Negotiate quotations based on price, terms, quality and delivery.
• Coordinate closely with Production Planning, Sales and suppliers.
• Monitor material availability and delivery schedules.
• Maintain SDS, REACH, RoHS and other relevant documentation.
• Coordinate raw-material shipment/call-off activities when required.

Requirements:

• Degree in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Manufacturing experience is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications may also be considered.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Able to communicate in Chinese, English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Strong coordination, analytical and problem-solving skills.
