Purchasing & Planning Officer

Our client Melamine Marketing Sdn Bhd (ZMOMENTs) is seeking a Purchasing & Planning Officer to join their team!

What you'll be doing?

• Manage Purchase Orders: Plan, issue, and follow up on Purchase Orders, ensuring timely delivery and shipment schedules.
• Material Planning: Keep safety stock levels for production and coordinate with local and overseas suppliers.
• Communication: Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Reporting: Prepare weekly and monthly material stock reports and import shipment documents.
• Ad-hoc Duties: Undertake any other tasks as assigned to support the team.

Who are they looking for?

• Education: A Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Logistics, Business Administration, or Operations Management.
• Languages: Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is required. Understanding Mandarin is an advantage for better communication with suppliers.
• Experience: At least one year of experience in Procurement or Supply Chain related role.
• Skills: Basic knowledge in inventory management and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
