Purchasing & Production Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Purchasing and Production Support Coordinator to join a busy manufacturing business based in Yatala.

This is a varied, hands-on position supporting purchasing, inventory management and production scheduling. The successful candidate must have previous experience working within a manufacturing environment and be confident using ERP systems and Excel.

Key responsibilities

• Raise and manage purchase orders
• Liaise with suppliers regarding pricing, availability and delivery schedules
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate material requirements
• Support production planning and scheduling
• Review reports and identify purchasing or inventory issues
• Maintain accurate purchasing, stock and production data
• Use Excel to analyse information and prepare reports
• Update the ERP system and ensure records remain accurate
• Follow up outstanding orders and resolve supply issues
• Work closely with production, warehouse and management teams
• Help ensure materials are available to meet operational deadlines

About you
To be successful, you will have:

• Previous purchasing experience within a manufacturing environment
• A strong understanding of production processes and material requirements
• Experience using ERP or inventory-management systems
• Good Excel skills and confidence working with reports and data
• Strong attention to detail and accurate data-entry skills
• Excellent organisation and time-management abilities
• Confidence communicating with suppliers and internal departments
• The ability to work independently and manage changing priorities
• Experience with production scheduling would be highly regarded
• Experience using BOND or similar software would be advantageous
