Purchasing Assistant

Assists in the procurement of fuel products and related supplies by coordinating with suppliers, preparing purchase orders, monitoring deliveries, and maintaining accurate purchasing records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist and Source fuel and related products.
• Prepare purchase orders, requests, and other procurement documents.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding prices, availability, delivery schedules, and requirements.
• Monitor fuel orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Verify delivered quantities and documents against purchase orders and delivery receipts.
• Maintain updated records of fuel purchases, deliveries, and supplier transactions.
• Assist in monitoring fuel inventory and stock levels.
• Coordinate with operations, accounting, and suppliers regarding discrepancies or concerns.
• Request and compare supplier quotations when necessary.
• Ensure purchasing transactions comply with company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
• With experience in purchasing, procurement, or fuel-related operations is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Good communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
