Purchasing Assistant

• Identify and source potential suppliers for goods and services needed by the company.
• Professionally interact with suppliers on a day to day basis and maintain positive relationships.
• Negotiating pricing and payment terms with suppliers to ensure best value for the company.
• Verifying purchases by comparing them to a master list and recommending alternatives for or irrelevant products.
• Monitor and track orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issue may arise. Includes communicating with the stakeholders to ensure that goods & services are delivered on time and full.
• Authorizing payment, maintaining accurate records of all purchasing activities and reconciling purchase orders with invoices or official receipts, and inventories of purchases.
• Attend industry trade shows to learn about and stay current on trends and to meet suppliers.
• Creating purchase orders and submitting them to suppliers for processing.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

1. Graduate of any bachelor’s degree.
2. 1-3 years of experience working in procurement, purchasing, and other related fields
3. Has knowledge in contract management & negotiation. strong written & verbal communication skills. highly detail oriented and trustworthy.
