Purchasing Assistant

We're looking for Purchasing Assistant to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate will have an experience to work with a pioneering team of one of the biggest FMCG group. This role involves managing purchase orders, maintaining inventory levels, ensuring the timely delivery of supplies, and assisting with supplier relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Receipt and process of approved request for all departments
• Research and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers.
• Process Approval Comparison Price and generate Purchase Order in SAP
• Maintain communication with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues related to orders
• Update internal database with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, cost and discounts)
• Assist in reviewing quotes from vendors to ensure competitive pricing
• Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, prices, deliveries, and other relevant details in the company’s database or procurement system
• Prepare reports on purchasing activities, inventory status, and supplier performance as needed
• Carry out others duty that related to the job from superior

Qualifications:

• Graduate of any 4-year course
• Preferably with at least 1-year experience in FMCG or Manufacturing industry
• Familiar with SAP
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Strong organization and time management skills
