PURCHASING ASSISTANT

About the role

As a Purchasing Assistant at Aquasolv Philippines Inc., you will ensure the timely, cost-effective, and quality sourcing of chemicals, equipment, spare parts, and other materials needed to support efficient and uninterrupted water treatment operations. This full-time, office-based position in Makati City.

What you'll be doing

1. Assist with the preparation and processing of purchase orders, contracts, and other procurement documentation
2. Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and coordinate deliveries
3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all purchasing activities
4. Support the development and implementation of purchasing policies and procedures
5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and requirements
6. Identify opportunities to streamline purchasing processes and achieve cost savings

What we're looking for

1. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
2. Strong organizational and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail
3. Proficient in using procurement software and Microsoft Office applications
4. Previous experience in a purchasing or procurement role, ideally within the manufacturing or logistics industries
5. Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
6. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
