Purchasing Assistant

Key responsibilities

• Handle the purchasing of materials, supplies, and other company needs
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (PO) and other purchasing documents
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding prices, availability, and delivery schedules
• Request and compare supplier quotations
• Monitor orders and follow up on deliveries
• Maintain and organize purchasing records and documents
• Check received items against Purchase Orders and supplier documents
• Coordinate with Accounting, Warehouse, and other departments regarding purchases
• Assist in monitoring inventory and items needed for operations
• Communicate with suppliers to resolve issues regarding orders, deliveries, or incorrect items

About you

• Graduate of any business-related course is preferred
• Purchasing/procurement experience is an advantage
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Computer literate, especially in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Organized, detail-oriented, and willing to learn
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Responsible and trustworthy
