Purchasing Assistant Manager

Develop and execute sourcing and procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.

Lead supplier identification, qualification, evaluation, negotiation, and contract management activities.

Drive annual productivity and cost-saving initiatives through supplier negotiations, strategic sourcing, value engineering, and process improvements.

Monitor and manage supplier and subcontractor performance in quality, cost, delivery, service, and compliance.

Establish strategic partnerships with key suppliers to improve lead times, quality, innovation, and total cost of ownership

Manage inbound and outbound logistics, transportation, warehousing, customs coordination, and shipment tracking activities.

Monitor open purchase orders and proactively resolve supply risks, shortages, and delivery issues.

Drive procurement process improvements, digitalization initiatives, and effective utilization of SAP and e-Sourcing tools.

Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier documentation, and audit-ready files.

Support internal and external audits related to procurement, supply chain, and supplier management activities.

Collaborate closely with Operations, Installation, Service, Modernization, Finance, Engineering, and Project teams to ensure timely availability of materials and services.

Act as the primary point of contact for procurement and supply chain matters in Singapore.

Support regional and global procurement initiatives as assigned.
