Purchasing Associate

We are looking for a Purchasing Associate to support the day-to-day purchasing needs of our bakery and rice meal stores. The role will handle supplier coordination, purchasing of ingredients and supplies, price comparison, and order monitoring to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze material demand and consumption.
• Analyze supplier behavior and delivery lead time.
• Process purchase orders based on approved requirements.
• Source and coordinate with suppliers for food ingredients, packaging, store supplies, and other materials.
• Request and compare supplier quotations and prices.
• Follow up on orders and ensure timely and complete deliveries.
• Maintain updated supplier, price, and purchasing records.
• Coordinate with warehouse, commissary, stores, and operations regarding inventory and purchasing needs.
• Assist in supplier negotiations and cost-saving initiatives.
• Monitor product quality and address delivery or supplier issues.
• Ensure proper documentation of purchasing transactions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Purchasing, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of purchasing/procurement experience, preferably in food service, bakery, restaurant, FMCG, or retail.
• Good communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
• Experience with Odoo or any ERP and purchasing systems is an advantage.
• Knowledge of food ingredients, packaging, and store supplies is a plus.
• Knowledge of GMP and GWP is a plus.

Salary: ₱22,000–₱25,000/month
