Purchasing Associate

Karma Group is looking for a Purchasing Associate to support our team in managing operational procurement activities across our resort properties in Bali.

This role will work closely with resort Purchasing teams and internal stakeholders to ensure operational procurement activities, vendor performance, contracts, and procurement SOPs are properly coordinated and maintained.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the Head of Procurement in managing operational procurement requirements across Karma Group resort properties.
• Work closely with Purchasing teams at Karma Kandara and Karma Jimbaran, covering both F&B and Non-F&B procurement.
• Assist with vendor and supplier coordination to support operational requirements.
• Assist in contract maintenance and upgrading of procurement-related items.
• Collect and coordinate Vendor Performance Reviews and support follow-up actions where required.
• Help monitor the implementation and compliance of procurement SOPs across resort properties.
• Coordinate with relevant departments and stakeholders to ensure procurement requirements are properly followed up.
• Perform other procurement-related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or vendor management is preferred at least 4 years.
• Experience in the hospitality industry will be highly advantageous.
• Good knowledge and understanding of F&B and Non-F&B vendors and suppliers especially in Bali and other areas will be advantageous.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Team player with a proactive and achievement-oriented mindset.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-up skills.
• Able to work effectively with multiple departments and stakeholders.
• Willing to be based in Bali and work closely with resort operations.
