Purchasing Associate

Full job description

• Purchasing of items and placed orders as approved by the President
• Oversee and closely monitors the shipment of orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Regular update to the requestor regarding status of request
• Source vendors/suppliers; research potential vendors
• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices
• Prepare reports on purchases
• Monitor purchase request and and ensure accuracy of request
• Coordinate and report to the supplier for any discrepancy, damage items and negotiate for item replacement.
• Coordinate with warehouse department to ensure proper storage

Job Qualifications:

• Graduate of any 4-year business course or similar
• Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply
• Must be adept in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other programs required for the job
• Excellent decision and organization skills; must be keen to details.
• Can work with minimal supervision
