Purchasing Buyer

Position : Purchasing Buyer Location : San Diego, CA Duration : 3 months contract **Total Hours/week : 40.00

pay rate: $20-25/hr** 1st shift Description

• Responsible for identifying and procuring goods and services that the organization requires to keep the production lines running. Ensure optimal inventory levels.
• Working with stakeholders and peers (Sourcing, Quality, Material Coordinators, Planning, Transportation, Engineers, Finance) to ensure requests are fulfilled. Maintain supplier relationships and improve supplier performance (service, on-time delivery, quality, reconciliation of invoices, POs and documentation).
