Purchasing Buyer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Purchasing Buyer / Procurement Assistant to support the company’s purchasing activities by sourcing materials, equipment, supplies, and services while ensuring competitive pricing, quality, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and canvass materials, equipment, supplies, and services from suppliers.
• Request and compare quotations and negotiate prices and delivery terms.
• Prepare purchase orders and other procurement documents.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, and payment requirements.
• Monitor purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of items.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier information.
• Coordinate with different departments regarding purchasing requirements.
• Perform other procurement-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any 4-year course; business-related course is an advantage.
• With at least 1 year of purchasing/procurement experience.
• Experience in the construction industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of construction materials, tools, equipment, and supplies is an advantage.
• Good negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple purchasing requests.
• Willing to work in Kapitolyo, Pasig City.
