About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Purchasing professional to join ACTER TECHNOLOGY MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. in Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our supply chain operations, ensuring that we procure materials, components and services efficiently and cost-effectively to support our manufacturing and logistics operations. You will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and maintaining optimal inventory levels to keep our business running smoothly. This role is integral to our operational success and directly impacts our ability to meet production schedules and maintain profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Purchase Order & Documentation: Assist in drafting, checking, and issuing Purchase Orders (POs); systematically organize and archive procurement documents, including quotations, delivery orders, and invoices.
• Supplier Communication & Sourcing Support: Maintain clear communication with suppliers to request price quotations and product specifications, collect material samples, and update the vendor database.
• Delivery Expediting: Track ongoing orders actively, liaise with suppliers to ensure materials are dispatched on time, and update site/warehouse teams on delivery schedules.
• Cross-Department Coordination: Work closely with the project site, warehouse, and finance teams to verify goods received and reconcile billing documents.

What we're looking for

• Language Proficiency: Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin (written and spoken) to communicate effectively with local suppliers, cross-border vendors, and internal teams.
• Education & Experience: / Diploma or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• 1 year of experience in procurement, administration, or construction-related clerical roles is an advantage.
• Competencies: Highly organized with good attention to detail; strong interpersonal skills and a proactive working attitude.
