About the role

This role focuses on vendor and supplier management, IT asset and license procurement, and contract negotiation to ensure optimal pricing, timely delivery, and compliance with service level agreements and data security guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate contracts with hardware vendors, software distributors, or cloud providers
• Source client-specific software licenses, server infrastructure, networking equipment, and internal company hardware at optimal pricing and lead times
• Review terms, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), warranty coverage, and renewal terms with third-party providers to mitigate delivery and uptime risks
• Coordinate with internal finance/accounting teams to ensure 3-way matching of Purchase Orders, delivery receipts, and vendor invoices
• Conduct periodic market benchmarkings to ensure the firm secures maximum partner discounts, volume rebates, and deal registration margins
• Ensure hardware and client software licenses are delivered without causing project deployment delays
• Ensure software vendors and cloud providers comply with international and local data security guidelines before executing sub-processor agreements
• Collaborate with technical teams (solutions architects, sysadmins) and financial control teams to align tech specs with budgetary limits
• Maintain clear, traceable digital records for all procurement transactions, software licensing keys, and hardware warranties for internal/external audits

About you

• Solid understanding of enterprise IT licensing models (per-user, per-core, subscription, perpetual, consumption-based)
• Proven track record in securing deal registration discounts and enterprise partner margins from major OEMs/distributors
• Ability to interpret technical bill-of-materials (BOM) provided by IT solution without misinterpreting hardware specifications
