Key Responsibilities:
Weighbridge & Quality Control: Operate truck scales to capture accurate gross, tare, and net weights. Visually inspect incoming loads for quality, moisture, or contamination before unloading.
Procurement & Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms with suppliers. Find cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Documentation & Compliance: Cross-match weight tickets against POs, DOs, and supplier invoices. Ensure full compliance with company SOPs and local trade regulations.
Vendor & Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages, track logistics/shipments, and build strong relationships with suppliers.
Dispute Resolution: Handle delivery delays, defective items, or invoice discrepancies quickly.
