About the role

This role involves managing and coordinating purchasing, manufacturing, importation, and transportation activities. You will source and evaluate suppliers, process purchase orders, monitor production and shipment status, and ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the purchasing of materials, products, equipment, and supplies
• Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, availability, and reliability
• Request and compare quotations and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules
• Prepare, process, and monitor Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure accuracy of quantities and specifications
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding orders, production schedules, delivery, and product availability
• Monitor manufacturing and production status to ensure orders are completed according to specifications and timelines
• Coordinate importation activities, including shipping documents, customs requirements, and shipment schedules
• Monitor shipments from supplier to warehouse or destination and ensure timely delivery
• Track shipment status and resolve delays, shortages, damages, or discrepancies
• Verify received goods against Purchase Orders, invoices, packing lists, and delivery documents

• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Previous experience in Purchasing, Manufacturing, Importation, or Transportation is an advantage
• Willing to learn and adapt to company procedures and processes
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
