Qualifications – Purchasing Staff

1. Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's degree (S1) in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience in construction projects, with a strong preference for interior fit-out, interior renovation, or commercial interior projects.
3. Must have hands-on experience handling project-based procurement, from material sourcing and quotation comparison to purchase order issuance and delivery coordination.
4. Familiar with interior construction materials, including flooring, ceiling systems, partitions, wall finishes, joinery, custom furniture, hardware, and other interior fit-out materials.
5. Experienced in sourcing suppliers and subcontractors, negotiating prices, and evaluating quotations based on cost, quality, specifications, and delivery lead times.
6. Able to review material specifications, BOQs, and project requirements to ensure purchased materials meet project needs.
7. Experienced in coordinating material procurement and delivery schedules with project teams to meet site requirements and project deadlines.
8. Proficient in Microsoft Excel for preparing price comparisons, procurement reports, purchase tracking, and cost analysis.
9. Able to monitor purchase orders, material availability, delivery status, and supplier performance.
10. Strong negotiation, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
11. Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple procurement requirements across projects under tight deadlines.
12. Willing to coordinate with estimators, project managers, site teams, warehouse personnel, and finance to ensure efficient procurement processes.
