Purchasing Coordinator

Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and detail oriented Purchasing Coordinator to support procurement and shipping operations for our FAA-certified aircraft repair station. This role focuses on sourcing aircraft parts and materials, negotiating pricing and lead times, tracking purchase orders, and coordinating shipments to support daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and purchase aircraft parts, tools, materials, supplies, and services from approved vendors
• Request and compare vendor quotes and negotiate pricing, lead times, and purchasing terms
• Create, process, and track purchase orders
• Follow up with vendors regarding availability, order status, backorders, and urgent requirements
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including pickups with FedEx, DHL, and UPS
• Prepare shipping labels and required shipping documentation
• Verify parts documentation, traceability, and certifications, including FAA 8130-3 and CoC when applicable
• Process returns, RMAs, replacements, and vendor credits
• Maintain accurate purchasing, vendor, shipment, and certification records
• Coordinate with Accounting, Receiving, Quality, and other departments as needed

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
