Purchasing Engineer

Job Summary

Responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and procuring technical materials, equipment, machinery, spare parts, and engineering-related services. The role ensures that purchases meet required technical specifications, quality standards, cost targets, and delivery requirements while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• Preferably with experience in purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or technical buying.
• Experience in purchasing engineering materials, equipment, machinery, spare parts, or technical services is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of technical specifications and engineering requirements.
• Good negotiation, supplier management, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple purchasing requirements.
• Willing to coordinate with suppliers and conduct site visits when necessary.
