Purchasing Executive (Cantonese)

About the role

The buyer is responsible for independently handling vendor-related tasks, including setting up new parts, creating and adjusting purchase orders, maintaining costs, and updating estimated time of arrival (ETA). This role will interface with vendors to obtain order status and with the Supply Chain Program Manager to stay updated on the latest need by dates. The role will also promptly escalate any issues or problems to the management team.

• Fulfill PO request
• PO follow up
• Drop ship orders
• ETA follow up
• ETA update
• New parts creation
• Price change (POCV)
• Warehouse discrepancy (CWS)
• Material Transfer
• MT follow up

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or related fields (or equivalent experience)
• Fluent oral and written English and Mandarin
• At least two years' work experience in the field of procurement
• Knowledge and skills required to work cooperatively with others and towards achieving desired results
• Knowledge and skills required to discover and meet customer needs and foster business relationships with internal and external customers
• Ability to initiate new ideas and concepts to improve workflow and efficiency
• Strong coordination and organization ability for solving problems on business and among team members
• Patience and detail-orientation
• Good negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently under pressure
