Job responsibilities:

• Monitor and ensure healthy stock levels to support outlet and warehouse operations.
• Issue purchase orders promptly to prevent out-of-stock situations.
• Track purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Source potential suppliers and identify new products in line with company assortment strategies.
• Negotiate trading terms, pricing, and cost structures to achieve the best commercial value.
• Prepare and propose monthly promotion plans, including pricing, mechanics, and supplier support.
• Conduct market research and demand forecasting to support buying and replenishment decisions.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Warehouse, Finance, and Marketing) to ensure smooth execution of purchasing activities.
• Support tasks related to purchasing and category management as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, merchandising, or supply chain is preferred; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Must be able to communicate in English, Malay & Mandarin (We seek Mandarin-speaking candidate who are required to deal with Mandarin speaking suppliers)
• Good computer skills (Microsoft Office) will be an added advantage
• Strong organizational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
