Purchasing Executive (Central/FMCG)

Job Descriptions:

• Liaise with end users and verify requisitions raised for purchase of different categories of products ( spare parts, hardware, packaging, ingredients etc)

• Analyse products and managing RFQ process, including negotiation and evaluation of supplier quotes

• Conducting product research and sourcing new enders & suppliers.

• Establishing good working relationships and support with end users as well as key suppliers to ensure merchandise is high quality delivered on time.

• Prepare, process & track orders and ensure correct products & quantities timely delivered.

• Comply with Standard Operating Procedure.

• Maintain proper documentation record into in house system and server.

• To cope with buyers’ last-minute amendment to order due to unforeseen. With limited reaction time, close follow up skill and initiative is needed to handle the situation well by providing constructive solution.

• To adapt to the in-house operational system, troubleshoot and give feedback to our IT personnel for system enhancement.

• The ability to multi-task, work under pressure and problem solving with various pressing issues.

• Have a good time management and prioritize work based on level of importance and urgency within the given time frame.

• To work closely and cordially with other departments.

Requirements:

• 1 year of purchasing/procurement experience, preferably from FMCG related industries
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Team player
