Job Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchasing Executive to manage procurement activities for direct and indirect materials. You will play a key role in supplier sourcing, material planning, cost optimization, and ensuring timely material availability to support smooth manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end purchasing process for direct and indirect materials, with a primary focus on production materials.
• Execute weekly Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and ensure timely replenishment of materials.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
• Source and evaluate local and overseas suppliers, particularly from China, to support business and production requirements.
• Handle import purchasing activities, including supplier negotiations, customs (LMW) requirements, shipping coordination, pricing, and lead time management.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
• Prepare quotation comparisons and cost analyses to achieve the best value for the company.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation for audit and traceability purposes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency and supply chain performance.
• Perform other purchasing-related duties as assigned by the superior.

Requirements

Must Have

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or supply chain within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
• Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
• Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Mandarin proficiency to communicate effectively with China suppliers.
• Good command of spoken and written English.

Nice to Have

• Experience in import purchasing, customs (LMW), and international sourcing.
• Familiarity with supplier sourcing in the China market.
• Experience using ERP or procurement systems.

工作职责

• 负责直接及间接物料的采购工作，重点管理生产物料采购。
• 执行每周物料需求计划（MRP），确保物料及时补充。
• 与供应商协调交货进度，确保物料准时交付并维持适当库存水平。
• 开发及评估本地与海外供应商，尤其是中国供应商，以满足业务及生产需求。
• 负责进口采购事务，包括供应商议价、LMW 海关事务、物流运输、价格及交期管理。
• 开发、评估及建立新的供应商合作关系，并维护良好的供应商关系。
• 准备报价比较及成本分析，确保采购成本具竞争力。
• 维护完整的采购记录及相关文件，确保资料准确并符合审核要求。
• 推动采购流程持续改善，提升采购效率及供应链绩效。
• 完成直属主管交办的其他采购相关工作。

职位要求

必备条件

• 拥有供应链管理、采购、工商管理、物流管理或相关科系的文凭或学士学位。
• 至少 2 年制造业、工业或供应链相关采购、采购管理（Procurement）或供应商开发经验。
• 熟悉物料需求计划（MRP）运作。
• 具备良好的谈判、沟通及供应商管理能力。
• 能够独立工作，并在最少监督下完成工作。
• 具备良好的分析能力及问题解决能力。
• 具备中文（普通话）沟通能力，以便与中国供应商进行业务沟通。
• 具备良好的英文听说读写能力。

加分条件

• 具备进口采购、LMW 海关管理或国际采购经验。
• 熟悉中国供应商开发及管理。
• 熟悉 ERP 或采购管理系统者优先考虑。
