Purchasing Executive

Key Responsibilities

1. Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices and quality.
2. Process purchase orders and follow up on production progress and deliveries to ensure the timely arrival of goods.
3. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
4. Work closely with internal departments to determine purchasing needs.
5. Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.
6. Resolve any supply chain or delivery issues with vendors.
7. Perform other job-related duties as assigned or required by the Head of Department.
8. Ensure all procurement activities remain within the approved budget while proactively identifying and proposing cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
9. Manage international shipment and forwarding of stocks, ensure on-time delivery aligned with event timelines, coordinate with freight forwarders and customs clearance where required, and proactively explore reliable forwarding solutions for new countries when needed.

Requirements

• Able to communicate in English & Chinese, as the role involves frequent coordination with international suppliers.

• Diploma or Degree holder

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with 1–2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, operations, logistics, or event-related roles will have an added advantage

• Experience in apparel, merchandise, e-commerce, or event-related procurement is an advantage but not required

• Strong coordination and follow-up skills

• Organised, detailed oriented & able to multitask

• Able to manage timelines in a fast-paced event environment
