Purchasing Executive

About the role

Responsible for sourcing and purchasing raw materials, tooling, consumables, and outsourced services to support production requirements. Ensure materials are procured at the right quality, cost, and delivery time while maintaining adequate inventory levels and supporting the company's operational objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Source and purchase raw materials, tooling, consumables, and services based on approved purchase requisitions
• Issue purchase orders and ensure procurement activities comply with company procedures
• Monitor purchase order status and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery
• Coordinate with suppliers to resolve delivery delays, shortages, quality issues, and other procurement-related problems
• Source, evaluate, and develop qualified suppliers to meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements
• Maintain good relationships with suppliers and conduct regular supplier performance evaluations
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial terms to achieve cost savings
• Monitor material availability and coordinate with Planning, Warehouse, and Production to ensure uninterrupted production
• Identify cost reduction opportunities through supplier negotiations, alternative sourcing, and process improvements
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier documentation, quotations, contracts, and purchase orders

About you

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Good negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with suppliers and internal departments
• English and Chinese proficiency as working languages
• Aerospace or precision machining experience is an advantage
