Purchasing Executive

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery time.
• Obtain and analyze quotations, negotiate pricing, and secure favorable terms.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability and continuous improvement.
• Process purchase orders and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Monitor order status and expedite deliveries as required.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
• Track purchasing costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Assist in budget planning and cost control measures.
• Ensure suppliers adhere to company policies, quality standards, and legal requirements.
• Conduct supplier performance evaluations and suggest improvements.
• Work closely with the warehouse and logistics team to manage stock levels.
• Address any discrepancies in shipments or quality issues with suppliers.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and agreements.
• Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, supplier performance, and cost analysis.
• Identify and implement process improvements in procurement operations.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles.
• Negotiation & Communication: Strong ability to negotiate pricing, contracts, and supplier terms.
• Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze market trends, supplier costs, and procurement data.
• Problem-Solving: Quick decision-making and issue resolution in procurement processes.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point)
• Negotiation Skills – Ability to negotiate prices, contracts, and terms with suppliers effectively.
