Purchasing Executive

Responsibilities

• Support purchasing strategy execution, including supplier management, cost control, and inventory optimization
• Execute demand planning aligned with sales forecasts to ensure supply availability and avoid stock-out situations
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best pricing, quality, and terms
• Manage purchase orders, procurement processes, and ensure compliance with company SOPs
• Monitor market trends, commodity prices, and provide insights for cost-saving opportunities
• Coordinate with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and documentation flow
• Support budgeting, KPI tracking, and reporting for the purchasing function
• Conduct supplier performance review and participate in supplier audits when required
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support business operations and continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Min 2 years of working experience as Purchaser in FMCG industry
• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field.
• Hands on experience in handling purchasing documentations.
• Strong analytical ability and cost conscious
• Knowledge of negotiation skill
• Strong work ethics, resourceful and problem solver
• Strong communication skill, both written and verbal
• Able to work at a fast pace, multi-task and tight deadlines environment.
• Able to handle external stakeholders
