Purchasing Executive

📢 WE ARE HIRING – PURCHASE EXECUTIVE

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Executive to join our Purchase Department in a manufacturing factory dealing in Fireproofing & Insulation Materials.

📍 Location: Bhandup, Mumbai

🏭 Industry: Construction materials / Agreegates

💼 Experience: 4–5 years minimum

🎓 Qualification: Graduate with materials management as an additional skill

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day purchase and procurement activities

• Procure raw materials, consumables, packaging materials, spare parts and other requirements

• Identify and manage suitable vendors

• Obtain and compare quotations and negotiate commercial terms

• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs)

• Coordinate with vendors for timely delivery and follow up on pending orders

• Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality, Accounts and Maintenance teams

• Maintain purchase records, quotations, POs, invoices and vendor documentation

• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with stores to ensure manufacturing activities are not hampered due is raw materials or spares availability.

• Verify received materials against POs and resolve discrepancies.

• Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships

Required Skills:

✔️ Strong negotiation & vendor management skills

✔️ Good knowledge of MS Excel and purchase documentation

✔️ ERP / Purchase Management Software knowledge will be an advantage

✔️ Good communication and follow-up skills

✔️ Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving abilities

✔️ Knowledge of GST, quotations, POs, invoices and basic commercial terms preferred
