Purchasing Executive

Responsibilities

·         Supports Operations by ensuring material availability to meet the production schedule.

·         Assists in the negotiation of supplier contracts or service arrangements.

·         Evaluates current suppliers’ ability to support continued growth in operations, recommending courses of action to mitigate risk.

·         Develops contingency plans to prevent disruptions in operations.

·         Monitors vendor performance (quality, cost, delivery).

·         Locates new sources of supply when necessary.

·         Identifies cost savings opportunities to continually reduce overall material cost.

·         Serves as liaison between Quality Department and suppliers.

Skills / Capabilities

·         Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or Engineering field.

·         Strong organizational, negotiation, and analytical problem solving skills.

·         2 years’ experience in negotiations, formulating contracts, locating new sources and supporting manufacturing supply chain.

·         Good in English and Thai

·         Target driven and self-contained
