Deer Smart Technologies is looking for a Purchasing Engineer to support procurement activities for our data center construction projects. If you have experience in engineering procurement and enjoy working in a fast-paced project environment, we'd love to hear from you.

What You Will Do

· Manage procurement activities based on project schedules and budgets.

· Source suppliers, request quotations, compare prices, and negotiate costs.

· Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.

· Monitor supplier performance, quality, and delivery.

· Coordinate logistics, customs clearance, and material delivery to site.

· Maintain procurement records, contracts, purchase orders, and payment documentation.

· Work closely with Project, Site, and Finance teams to support project execution.

· Handle urgent procurement requirements and material changes when required.

What We're Looking For

· Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field.

· Minimum 3 years of procurement experience in engineering or construction projects.

· Experience in MEP, HVAC, Fire Protection, Data Center, or Industrial Construction is an advantage.

· Good negotiation, communication, and cost control skills.

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

· Knowledge of engineering materials and procurement processes.

· Familiarity with CIDB, SIRIM, and ST requirements is an added advantage.

· Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

· Male candidates who can speak Mandarin are preferred.
