Purchasing Executive

• Update material unit prices and maintain accurate purchase records.
• Process and update any unit price adjustments accordingly.
• Regularly update and monitor the imported material purchase checklist.
• Manage MIDA exemption applications for new materials and renew existing exemptions at least three (3) months before expiry.
• Handle Sales Tax Exemption applications based on company and material requirements.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely invoice submission.
• Check and verify accounting vouchers for domestic and overseas purchases, including transportation and insurance charges, for payment processing purposes.
• Review outstanding voucher reports and follow up with respective staff for immediate voucher creation.
• Monitor supplier account statements and coordinate with the Voucher Team regarding voucher status updates.
• Source and develop alternative suppliers to prevent supplier monopoly and support cost-saving initiatives.
• Coordinate sample testing for new suppliers with QA, R&D, and production teams to obtain approval.
• Ensure compliance with standard payment terms.
• Handle supplier complaints and coordinate corrective actions when necessary.
• Manage supplier audit activities and related documentation.
• Negotiate competitive pricing for logistics arrangements, including ocean freight, air freight, trucking, and related voucher preparations.
• Perform ad hoc tasks assigned by superior from time to time.

Job Requirement:

• At least Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Logistics, Trade, Engineering or equivalent.
• Good knowledge in Microsoft Office Applications.
• Able to work independently.
• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Malay.
• Excellence prioritizing skill to manage complex job tasks.
• Fresh graduate is encourage to apply.
• Candidate must be willing to relocate/base in the area of Johor Bahru Town, Johor and possess own transport
