Purchasing Executive

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and execute purchase orders to suppliers for materials/items from both local and overseas sources.
• Monitor and source materials/items, ensuring competitive pricing, quality, and reliable service from local and international suppliers.
• Responsible for the sourcing, selection, and evaluation of both existing and potential new suppliers.
• Assess and evaluate supplier performance, conduct regular performance reviews, ensure contract compliance, and implement improvement activities.
• Initiate and pursue cost-reduction strategies and initiatives.
• Prepare reports on purchasing activities, including cost analysis and supplier performance metrics.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Qualification in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia, English (additional languages will be an advantage).
• Minimum of 1 - 2 years of working experience in a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
