About Wonder Balloons

Wonder Balloons Malaysia (WB Supplies & Services Sdn Bhd) is a balloon decoration and brand activation company in Klang. We decorate launches, events and stores for corporate clients. We also run an online balloon shop and a retail store.

The role

You'll run our purchasing from start to finish: quotation, purchase order, shipping, delivery and payment. You'll buy stock, packaging and office items, and source materials for custom client projects. We work with local suppliers and with overseas suppliers. You'll report directly to the Director.

What you'll do

• Buy day-to-day stock, packaging materials and office supplies, and raise purchase orders when stock runs low
• Source and buy materials for custom projects, from supplier quotation through to delivery at our warehouse
• Get quotations, compare suppliers and negotiate price, lead time and quality
• Work with freight forwarders on overseas shipments, and track every order until it arrives
• Check goods received against the purchase order, invoice and delivery order
• Key purchase orders and supplier invoices into our system
• Coordinate supplier payments with our finance team
• Run regular stock counts and keep physical stock matched with system records
• Research new suppliers and products

What we're looking for

• Diploma or degree, preferably in business, supply chain or a related field
• At least 1 year of experience in purchasing, procurement or import coordination
• Good written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Mandarin is an advantage for dealing with Chinese suppliers, but not required
• Comfortable with Excel and with accounting or inventory software
• Organised, careful with numbers, and willing to chase suppliers until things arrive

Salary and benefits

• RM2,500 – RM3,000 per month
• EPF, SOCSO and EIS

• Overtime pay when overtime is needed

Hours and location

• Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm, at our office in Klang
• Saturday, 9am – 1pm, working from home
• Permanent, full-time, with a 3-month probation
• Immediate start

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
