Purchasing Executive

Responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions and issue POs; track delivery to ensure no production/workshop disruption
• Source, evaluate, and maintain suppliers; handle supplier performance and anomalies
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts to drive cost savings
• Monitor inventory levels with warehouse/production to avoid shortages or excess stock
• Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and price lists
• Coordinate with production, engineering, sales, and finance teams
• Attend customers audit

Competency Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Business Admin, or Automotive Engineering preferred
• 1–3 years purchasing experience; automotive industry experience an advantage
• Proficient in MS Office; ERP (e.g., Infor LN) experience a plus
• Knowledge of automotive parts, specifications, and market conditions
• Strong negotiation and communication skills; able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Good English communication skills (for overseas procurement/foreign enterprises)

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
