Purchasing Intern

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated Purchasing Intern to support our procurement operations. This role provides hands-on experience in documentation of purchasing activities and vendor communication. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the purchasing team in documenting purchases
• Enter purchase orders, update supplier data, and process sales confirmations
• Help maintain accurate records.
• Communicate with carriers and internal teams
• Support special projects and reports as requested by management

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable with data entry
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Interest in the food distribution and transportation industry
• Position would be in office, based out of Irvine, CA
